Making you a part of the team, keeping you in the loop. That’s my fifth principle of client representation. We believe that we can get the best result for you if we work with you and for you. That means that keeping you in the loop, it means sending you copies of things that happen, it means talking to you, it means returning your phone call. We have an absolute policy. If you don’t hear back from me in 24 hours or at least someone in my office, you have every right to call us again and say, “Hey, my call was not returned.”
We keep you a part of the team. We can’t make everything in this process enjoyable, but we can make your relationship with us enjoyable. We can make it so that you can feel comfortable working with us and talking to us. So my fifth client representation principle is my contact with you.
